1。一帮自行车发烧友去青海湖骑车，顺便进藏的谋划，终于在7月中旬付诸实施：

14。这样泥泞的道路不算是最差的，后来听说最差的是“排骨路”和“麦当劳路”：

车队出发后，大约走了1000公里，车队过了玉树。前方传来消息，听说玉树国道塌方，车队被迫改走县道，走上了真正意义上的排骨路，还有麦当劳路。所谓麦当劳路，就是除了车轱辘走的地方低，其余的地方都高，常常擦底盘。幸而都是四驱车，底盘可以升高，但是还是常常从车底传来响声。
不幸的事情发生了，途锐抛锚，原因是刹车灯亮了，后来更多的仪表灯乱闪，彻底趴下。后来4S店派车拖回成都，检查之后就是一根仪表盘的线松了，接好之后一切恢复正常，让人哭笑不得。
其余的车子胆战心惊地前进，不久随车携带的97号油耗尽了，找不到97号油，所有的车子被迫到一家疑似黑油站加了93号油。奔驰公司的工程师怎么也想不到，中国的排骨路是那样的厉害，到类乌齐的100公里路，车队走了8小时。奔驰350突然趴下，原因是前轴承有异常响声，两辆车子陪伴奔驰在路上又冷又饿过了一夜，最后拖回去检查的结果是轴承碎裂。
前方城市昌都派车来接应，剩下的车子好不容易到达昌都。修整一天之后，租车继续进藏。第二天准备出发，英菲尼迪再也打不着火，经过诊断怀疑，是因为加了93号汽油所致，最后拖回西安处理，检查结果是油路严重堵塞。
宝马X5还能动，但是上一个宾馆的小斜坡都没有劲儿，要人推才能上去。于是宣布宝马X5拖回去再说。检查结果也是油路严重堵塞，光是更换油路系统就花了8000多。
那些豪华车发动机的设计工程师做梦都想不到，中国的青藏高原缺乏97号油，所加的93号油可能还不纯，在黑油站加的油，可能90号都不够，在4000-5000米海拔的高原上，空气中的含氧量才有平原地区的60%。在这种环境下发动机燃烧严重不完全，当然油路要堵塞。
最后租了一辆面包车，一辆陆地巡洋舰，继续前往拉萨。路上，大伙看到一个从川藏线进藏的车队，大约有10辆车子，其中有富康，有桑塔纳，有捷达，有人说好像还有QQ，车队浩浩荡荡，得意洋洋，向他们招手致意，把所有的人气得眼冒绿光。
