游戏玩家卢梅斯·克隆利弄到了一款新近的3D热门游戏《生存》，该游戏以令人毛骨悚然的中世纪巫术和历史人物“嗜血女伯爵”作为主题和卖点，不幸的是，痴迷于游戏攻关的卢梅斯突然离奇死亡，他的一干好友在哈奇（强·福斯特 饰）的带领下，决定通宵完成攻关，以纪念死去的好友。
　　游戏开始了，为了永葆青春与美丽的中世纪“嗜血女伯爵”开始了血腥杀戮的历程，玩家们在这虚拟的空间中必须竭力求生，以免沦为女伯爵的可怜祭品。然而，更令人毛骨悚然的事情发生了，玩家们在忘情地扮演着角色的同时，渐渐发觉虚拟的游戏世界已经与他们所存在的现实世界发生了惊人的重合……
