闲着没事

A father put his three year old daughter to bed, told her a story and
listened to her prayers which she ended by saying:

"God bless Mommy,
God bless Daddy,
God bless Grandma and
good-bye Grandpa."

一个父亲把他三岁的女儿放在床上， 给她讲了个故事， 听她祈祷。 最后， 她说道：

上帝保佑妈妈， 上帝保佑爸爸， 上帝保佑奶奶。 再见爷爷。

The father asked, "Why did you say good-bye grandpa?"
The little girl said, "I don't know daddy, it just seemed like the
thing to do."


父亲问道： 为什么你要说再见爷爷？ 小女孩说， 不知道， 只是觉得应该这么说。

The next day grandpa died. The father thought it was a strange
coincidence. A few months later the father put the girl to bed and
listened to her prayers which went like this:

"God bless Mommy,
God Bless Daddy and
good-bye Grandma."
第二天， 爷爷死了。 父亲想到这是很奇怪的巧合。 几个月后， 父亲把小女孩放到床上是， 她的祈祷是：

The next day the grandmother died. Oh my gosh, thought the father, this
kid is in contact with the other side. Several weeks later when the girl was
going to bed the dad heard her say:

"God bless Mommy and
good-bye Daddy."

第二天， 奶奶死了。 噢， 我的天， 父亲想到， 这个孩子和另一边有联系。 几个星期后， 父亲在这孩子上床睡觉时说到：

He practically went into shock. He couldn't sleep all night and got up at the crack! of dawn to go to his office. He was nervous as a cat all day,
had lunch sent in and watched the clock. He figured if he could get by until
midnight he would be okay.

他几乎休克了。 他一夜没睡， 天刚蒙蒙亮就爬了起来， 去了他的办公室。 他一天象一只猫一样的神经希希的。吃了送来的午饭。 他想如果他能平平安安的到午夜， 他就会安全了。
He felt safe in the office, so instead of going home at the end of the day he
stayed there, drinking coffee, looking at his watch and jumping at every sound.

他觉得还是在办公室里安全。 所以在一天结束后， 他留在办公室里， 喝咖啡， 看着表， 每一秒钟就跳起来一次。
Finally midnight arrived, he breathed a sigh of relief and went home.
When he got home his wife said "I've never seen you work so late,
what's the matter?" He said "I don't want to talk about it, I've just
spent the worst day of my life."
午夜终于来了。 他长出一口气， 回了家。 当他回到家中， 他妻子说： 我从来没见你工作到这么晚。 出什么事了？ 他说： 我不想说这些。 我刚刚过去了我一生最坏的一天。

She said "You think you had a bad day, you'll never believe what happened
to me. This morning the milkman dropped dead on our porch."
她说： 你告诉我你的一天很坏吗？ 你不知道我这里出了什么事。 今天早晨， 送牛奶的人在咱们的门廊里倒下来死了。
